🏀 BMBA is Looking for Coaches! 🏀
Do you love basketball and want to give back to the game? We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic coaches to join our team at Blue Mountains Basketball Association!
Whether you’re experienced or just starting your coaching journey, we have opportunities for you to get involved, grow your skills, and help inspire the next generation of players.
✨ Current Coaching Opportunities:
✅ Intro to Basketball sessions in local schools (during school hours)
✅ School Holiday Clinics at Katoomba Aquatic Centre
💼 What We Offer:
– Hourly pay: $25–$35, depending on experience and qualifications
– BMBA coach shirt provided
– Fortnightly pay schedule
– Supportive basketball community
– Equipment provided (may include transporting portable hoops)
📝 What You’ll Need:
– Valid WWCC (Working With Children Check)
– Your own vehicle (able to carry some equipment)
– Availability during school hours (for school sessions)
– Willingness to complete the free online Introduction to Coaching course
📈 We also encourage our coaches to complete the in-person Club Coach Course—and we’ll cover the cost! The next one is in July in Thornleigh.
