2026 Magic Trials Are Coming Up!
We’re excited to invite all eligible athletes to the 2026 Representative Trials for Blue Mountains Magic!
These sessions are designed to assess player readiness and commitment as we prepare for the upcoming representative season.
Trial Dates
Sunday 17th August 2025
Sunday 31st August 2025
Katoomba Sports and Aquatic Centre
Trial Times & Age Groups
U12 (Born 2015/2016) – 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
U14 (Born 2013/2014) – 10:45 AM to 12:15 PM
U16 (Born 2011/2012) – 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM
U18 (Born 2009/2010) – 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM
Cost
$25 per player – This is a contribution to help cover court hire fees.
BMBA is subsidising the overall cost of running the trials to keep fees as low as possible for families.
Registration
Registration is mandatory – no walk-ons will be permitted.

Registrations close at 8:00 PM on Saturday 16th August – please register ASAP to secure your spot.
Attendance Requirement
Attendance at both sessions is required, unless prior arrangements are made with us. This ensures a fair and thorough evaluation process.
What to Bring
A basketball, if possible
A water bottle and plenty of energy
Arrive 15 minutes early to check in and warm up
